Paul Antinozzi has been a practicing architect for over 40 years and President of Antinozzi Associates since 1985. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture from the University of Notre Dame, and is a licensed architect in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Paul is also a registered interior designer in the State of Connecticut.
It is Paul’s enthusiasm, passion, sincerity and unfettered creativity for the profession of Architecture that inspires the unique personality of the firm. Since taking over the leadership of Antinozzi Associates from his father in the mid-80’s, Paul has established a collaborative culture within the firm, believing that a fluid mix of teamwork and individual talent produces the quality results the firm is known for. This successful concept has kept a long list of repeat clients coming back for design services for nearly 30 years.
As Principal-in-Charge of the firm’s institutional and municipal design projects, Paul Antinozzi guides the project direction, monitors critical issues and concerns, and defines these issues for the entire in-house team. It is well-known by clients that his involvement on projects – professional and personal – is maintained throughout every design phase to ensure that this mandate is carried out by the project team.
Besides his role at Antinozzi Associates, Paul is a very active member of his professional and local communities. He is on the American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) Committee on Design, as well as a member of the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards (NCARB). In Bridgeport, Paul serves on the University of Bridgeport Board of Trustees, is part of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council Board of Directors, and was former President of the Board of Directors for the Housatonic Community College Foundation.
It is clear that Paul’s passion and love for the profession extends well beyond the office.
