On-Call Design Services
When a client hires an on-call architect, they benefit from the value of regular, efficient project management and design expertise as well as a long-term relationship with that architect who becomes a resource – providing a range of support from routine preventative maintenance to complex capital improvement solutions.
Many of our recent on-call projects have included infrastructure upgrades, ADA/code updates, retrofit/adaptive reuse, historic preservation, roof/window replacements, and various other capital improvements.
“From inception through completion, this project neared a ten-year commitment during which George Perham, Lisa Yates and the team continued to stand by us. The project proved to be a delicate dance between balancing the modern facility requirements with the integrity of the old Sterling mansion; both in design and execution. Antinozzi was the perfect partner for this journey as they upheld the aesthetic and historical relevance, while creating a new area of the center that empowers us to deepen our service and impact to the community.
The renovation itself took a year and a half requiring diligence, patience and stamina at every turn. Our assigned architect, Joel Smith, respected the process like this was his home too. One of the strengths we appreciated most about him was his inquiry and commitment to understanding how we utilized the building in order to help guide us in each decision. He always treated us with respect and advocated for what was best for the community center and those we serve here.”
-Amanda Meeson, Executive Director, Sterling House Community Center
“Antinozzi is instrumental in executing our plans. We are very pleased with the designs and value to be added.”
-Matthew Kiamie, Vice President, Windsor Management Corporation
“We have retained Antinozzi Associates to work on a multitude of our projects since 1996 when we were first introduced to them by the NASDAQ. Projects have ranged from minimal interior renovations to complete building rehabs to new, Gold LEED Certified Class A office buildings. Davis Marcus Partners has a Connecticut portfolio of properties that total over 1.2M square feet and Antinozzi Associates has performed and continues to perform extensive architectural services for each of these buildings.
We are a very demanding client in regards to cost of their services, speed and quality of their work, speed and quality of the product they design, meeting schedules (both design and construction) and ultimately bringing each and every project in under budget and within schedule and quality criteria. They have always met or exceeded our requirements – and I always have the direct attention of and access to the partners. I am pleased to say that Antinozzi Associates is an integral part of our continued success in Connecticut.”
-David P. Fiore, Senior Vice President, Davis Marcus Partners

“The business relationship that The Housing Authority of the City of Bridgeport shares with Antinozzi Associates has been a positive, productive experience. Antinozzi Associates has been awarded Indefinite Quantity Contracts (IQC), which typically exceed $100,000 with options for additional years and dollars – options that have been exercised on a number of occasions.”
-David R. Ghio, Interim Director of Planning and Development, Park City Communities (HACB)
“Throughout the 46 years of our existence, we have had the good fortune of being involved in residential, industrial, commercial, institutional and mixed-use buildings and developments. Therefore, we feel privileged to have worked with architects, engineers, designers and planners ranging from some of the country’s largest firms to one person shops.
Without hesitation, we at Kuchma Corporation consider Antinozzi Associates to be an absolute top of the list firm. We have worked with them on many projects during the past 35 years and, no matter how large or small the size of the requirement, their principals and staff have treated us as though we are their most important client and they service us as though we are their only concern. Antinozzi Associates has completed projects with us that include commercial renovations, additions, gut rehabs and ground-up new construction for use as banks, offices, schools, retail, restaurant and multi-family residential buildings ranging in value from $50,000 to $ 236,000,000.”
-Philip Kuchma, President and Founder, Kuchma Corporation
“We worked with Paul Lisi of Antinozzi Associates on a now completed $800,000 HUD small cities grant project in 2015-2016, to do renovations to existing multi-family housing. From bid specs to punch list items, Paul was engaged and available to oversee the project to a satisfactory conclusion. We are now working with them on a $3.5 million dollar state project which is currently underway in pre-construction to continue major renovations to several of our other properties. We have been very satisfied with the work and the support services provided by Antinozzi and Associates and I highly recommend them.”
-Melinda A. Harvey, Executive Director, Newington Housing Authority
“The Stratford Housing Authority has worked with Antinozzi Associates on many projects. In fact, the Authority has used them virtually exclusively since 1981. Antinozzi Associates has designed a host of projects for us, including the design and construction of two elderly rental developments, major interior and exterior renovations, any minor design work we needed, as well as our current office building.
When the Authority received stimulus money from the federal government and had to make sure the design was expedited and the work completed on a short time schedule, Antinozzi Associates was our natural choice. Antinozzi is also great to work with when you have budget concerns or need work done in a hurry. Their client service is exceptional. As a recent example, the Authority called on Antinozzi to perform a Capital Needs Assessment in conjunction with a State of Connecticut rehab application. We were given a very short deadline and Antinozzi completed the required work very quickly, allowing the Authority to submit its application on time.”
-Elizabeth Sulik, Interim Executive Director, Stratford Housing Authority

Antinozzi has designed many projects for the town including but not limited to, major interior and exterior renovations, minor design work, as well as projects in our five year plan. Over the last several years Antinozzi Associates has provided architectural design services from the Schematic Design phase to Construction Documents, Bidding Phase and Construction Administration.
Antinozzi is very good to work with in all situations such as keeping scope of work within budget. They are a pleasure to work with and are very accommodating to the needs of the town.”

“We have worked with Antinozzi Associates regularly and currently utilize them for ongoing design needs. These projects included a new athletic field, parking lot improvements, new administrative offices, and a new learning commons in the Main Library (Wahlstrom Hall). Other services include HVAC and window renovations, window replacements, and extensive infrastructure repairs, and numerous fire alarm/life safety upgrades throughout the campus. In 2014 they completed an addition with a new front entry and canopy for the School of Business as well as a new four-story residence hall in August 2016.
We find their professionalism and responsiveness refreshing.”
-George Estrada, Vice President for Facilities, University of Bridgeport
“I have worked with Antinozzi Associates for over 17 years on the Webster Bank account. Over this time I found Antinozzi to be an exceptional partner who always rose to the challenge by being very responsive and providing top notch service while creating continuous value.
I was very fortunate to have worked with Antinozzi in both an on-call as well as dedicated team structure. While in the team structure, we had a number of associates dedicated to the Webster account based on work volume. Antinozzi has always brought creativity, knowledge and professionalism to the task no matter who on the team was assisting us. Our work load has varied dramatically over the years and Antinozzi has been extremely flexible and collaborative in crafting the appropriate team and solution for Webster.”
-Eric R. Unger, Director of Physical Environments, Webster Bank Corporate Real Estate
