April 11, 2019 – Our firm decided to sponsor Stephanie Barbagiovanni, NCIDQ, for the Greater Norwalk Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute. With her dedication to the firm and willingness to learn, it was an easy decision to do so. As it turns out, we believe that she got much more out of it then we or she expected.
The Leadership Institute is a professional development program that educates participants on the building blocks of a successful community, provides insight into the local culture, and fosters leadership and professional growth. This year’s class chose to lend their time and talents to improvements for the Child Guidance Center of Mid-Fairfield County, a local non-profit organization that is one of the largest providers of mental healthcare for children in the area. Stephanie and the Leadership Institute project team spearheaded an initiative that fosters meaningful change for children and families in the community. They created a sustainable lending library for children who visit the center for treatment, providing a fun and relaxed environment for families to enjoy during what would typically be a stress-inducing time in the waiting room.
The project team administered a complete renovation of the space including a new design layout, painting, carpeting, flooring, lighting, and furnishings. They also solicited donations of books and games to add to the lending library. This is the kind of work that makes life meaningful. Antinozzi Associates encourages all of our team members to become involved in their communities and lead fulfilling lives both in and out of the workplace.
