Antinozzi Associates had another successful year! Here are some of our highlights we’d like to share from both in our Bridgeport and Norwalk office.

We continue to have numerous projects in the residential and municipal design service sectors such as Housing Authority contracts and modernization projects for Stratford, Newington, West Haven, and Hartford. We continue to do work for the Town of Trumbull and one of the more recent projects have been an elevator replacement for the Trumbull Police Department.

As for our financial sector work, Webster Bank has been one of our most valued clients for 20 years and our current projects include over 10 renovations at various locations throughout Connecticut. We have also continued to do work for Newtown Savings Bank.

Over the last sixty years, our involvements with institutional projects have continuously been the largest efforts for the firm. Roosevelt Elementary School, a 34.8M, 85,000SF Pre-K to 8th Grade facility in Bridgeport received LEED for schools v2009 Gold Certification. Harding High School, a 208,00SF facility for 1,150 students, also began construction. Construction Documents were completed for Stratford High School’s Addition/Renovation Project went out to bid March 2017. Orville H. Platt High School is about 90% complete and is projected to finish $388,000 under budget. Throughout the year, we have also continued our on-call design services for the University of Bridgeport and UCONN; the new University Hall completed construction at UB, as did the Physical Therapy Relocation at UCONN. The newly awarded institutional project in 2016 was Walsh Intermediate School in Branford, CT which will have a 53,000SF renovation and 116,00SF addition. Construction Documents for Walsh will be in full development in 2017.

We had major strides in our Norwalk office and have worked on a number of capital improvement projects, tenant fit-outs, and renovations. These projects include the HEI Hotel & Resorts office expansion, completion of Davis Companies’ main lobby renovations for 200 Connecticut Avenue and most notably, the new headquarters for Hearst Connecticut Media Group in Norwalk, awarded in 2016.

Some local and community highlights include projects for our neighbors in downtown Bridgeport which include the law offices of Koskoff Koskoff and Bieder as well as the Milano Wine Bar and Pizzeria.  Within the community, we were the event sponsor for the 2016 UB Golf Classic and donated laptops and computers to the Bridgeport Area Youth Ministry (BAYM). Several members of our firm also participated in our 14th year of the ACE Mentor Program, teaming up with high school students from Bridgeport, Fairfield, and Stratford.

Now celebrating over 60 years, we are looking forward to what 2017 brings!
