Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) – April 2008 – Antinozzi Associates, along with marketing and graphic consultant Bligh Graphics, received two Marketing Communications Awards from the Connecticut Chapter of the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS-CT) for a Direct Mail Marketing Campaign called Examine. One award was under the submission category “General Marketing Piece”; the other, “Best of Show”, was bestowed on the team based on the review and vote of the award ceremony attendees.

The target audience of the Examine campaign was composed of individual and group medical practitioners, medical facility developers and real estate brokers in Connecticut. The goal: to educate medical practitioners and those affiliated with medical facilities regarding timely and relevant design topics that improve the function, appearance and profitability of a medical office.

Unique packaging and an inviting, high-impact graphic appearance was utilized to ensure attention and promote intrigue – while providing design and construction value in a quick reference guide.

In addition, this direct mail campaign allowed the Antinozzi Associates Medical Design Team’s brand to get in front of a specific target audience, as well as provide the opportunity to have possible clients access our website specifically for Examine and learn another aspect of our firm. The firm staff that worked on the campaign with Bligh Graphics also established collaborative thinking in-house and served as a vehicle to enhance marketing and business development skills for team members in the firm outside the marketing department.

As mentioned, Antinozzi Associates hired Bligh Graphics to assist with the Examine campaign strategy and implementation. Bligh Graphics has continued to conduct market research directly with the target audience as part of the two- to three-year comprehensive strategic plan the team developed from the outset of the campaign.
